Meet Tara Alemany, Co-Author “The Character-Based Leader” #bealeader co-host September 27th

The non-profit organization, Lead Change Group, released their new book The Character-Based Leader: Instigating a Leadership Revolution…One Person at a Time earlier this week. It was written by 21 professionals from many walks of life and many parts of the globe, including CT-based consultant, author and speaker Tara Alemany. The book’s core message is that leadership is about leading from who you are rather than your position or power.

According to the Lead Change Group, character counts perhaps more today than ever. Mike Henry Sr., the founder of the group, states “We hope to excite you about the idea that your personal leadership makes a critical difference in the world. Bring your best self, your true character, to make the greatest difference for people in your sphere of influence. That’s Character-Based Leadership.”

The Character-Based Leader explores perspectives and practical approaches to address topics such as trust, humility, integrity, communication, intentionality, walking the talk, balancing relationships and results, and more. It infuses some of the most current leadership thinking with some of the best ideas on how each individual can weave character into how they think and act.

The book has been endorsed by some of the world’s thought-leaders on leadership, including Marshall Goldsmith, Douglas Conant, Liz Strauss, James Strock, Michael McKinney, and many others. Marshall Goldsmith wrote “This well-written, easy read will leave you feeling inspired and ready to take ACTION!”

Join Tara on #bealeader this Thursday, September 27th 7pmET/4pmPT  to begin delving into one practical approach for improving your leadership, the practice of intentionality.

  2. What topics did you write about in the book?
